<aside> 👋 Hi, I’m Lucy.

I’m a degree qualified medical herbalist.

What does this mean?  In my degree I studied the body for years, training in anatomy, physiology, pathology and diagnostic skills.  I also studied plants; learning botany, biochemistry, and traditional medicinal uses.  I did hundreds of clinical hours, treating many patients with a huge variety of disease presentations.

I have a particular interest in hormonal health, fertility, pregnancy and the postpartum period.

My goal is to empower you to understand your body and what you can do to support your health to feel your best every day.

What is a Herbalist?

Herbal medicine is the oldest form of medicine, practiced by cultures across the globe, using a huge variety of native plants.

Many plants contain medicinal constituents and are synthesised into modern day pharmaceutical medications.

In the UK we are surrounded by medicinal plants, and even on the streets of London medicinal plants are everywhere - from the yarrow, nettle and plantain growing in our lawns to the elder, horse chestnut and hawthorn in our parks.
